The mountain village of Stoos is car-free and can only be reached by mountain railway or cable car. You can take the world’s steepest funicular railway from Schwyz or the small aerial cableway from Morschach.

We recommend travelling by cable car. The hotel is right next to the mountain station.

There are ample parking spaces available at the mountain railway and aerial cableway base stations.

Guests of the Wellness Hotel Stoos can park free of charge at the Morschach aerial cableway. You will receive your exit ticket upon departure.

Hotel guests can park free of charge at the base station of the Morschach aerial cableway.

Daily parking at the funicular railway in Schwyz costs CHF 13.00. The daily rate is lower for stays lasting several days. You can also conveniently reserve a parking space online.

We recommend that you book your desired treatment in good time. This is because demand is particularly high at weekends and during holiday periods, and the dates may be fully booked.

You can of course enquire about available treatment appointments at any time.

Check-in

Your room will be ready for you by 3 p.m. at the latest. Are you planning to arrive early? No problem. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us, spend the day in the great outdoors or let your mind drift away in the wellness and spa area.

Check-out

Please check out by 11 a.m. You are also welcome to use the wellness & spa area until 3 p.m. on your day of departure.

Late check-out can be booked by 5 p.m. on request and subject to availability.

Our kitchen team will spoil you every day with a perfectly thought-out 4-course dinner. Whether meat, fish, vegetarian or vegan: The beautifully arranged dishes are a wonderful conclusion to a perfect day with us.

Absolutely. For babies aged 0-2 years we provide a cot with cosy blankets free of charge.

For a family of four we recommend our duplex family room. Thanks to the second level and two beds, you will have plenty of space at your disposal.

Our two-bedroom suite with pull-out sofa and our superior double rooms can accommodate up to three people thanks to the option of an extra bed.

For larger families we recommend our partner hotel. The Stoos Lodge has family rooms for up to six people and, with its own indoor fun park and childcare service, offers the perfect environment for enjoying some carefree time with your children.
